ComedySportz provides a limited number of $50, $75 and $100 assistance scholarships to our overnight camps. 

To apply for a scholarship, simply answer the questions below and them to us or fax them to 323.871.1192.

We encourage applicants to give thoughtful responses to the questions. 

We also recommend that you register for camp before the May 9th "early bird" deadline so you can take advantage of that discount. You can simply choose the option to "pay by check" as opposed to credit card. After you find out if you have received a scholarship, you can send in the check for the appropriate amount.

1.  Why do you want to go to ComedySportz Summer Improv Theatre Camp?

2.  If you've been part of improvisation before, tell us why you enjoy it and what it has taught you. If you're new to improvisation, tell us what attracts you to it.

3.  How has a particular experience in the arts (any of the arts) affected you in some way? Tell us about the painting that changed your political views, the song that helped you understand your parents...something like that. 

4.  Improvisation is all about risk. Give us an example of when you took a risk, and tell us in what way it did or didn't pay off.
